6-7-2026 MY WEEK: i ❤ cleveland
it was saturday afternoon, in-between chores and my upcoming nail appointment (i treated myself with professional service this time), that i realized i haven't even opened my laptop and begun drafting for the blog. i've been loving the cleveland area, and my community a bit extra this week! consider this a love letter to all the wonderful women who keep the city and area alive with talent, creativity, and of course friendship.
it's our last full week in the states before we embark for the motherland. i had some last-minute appointments in the realm of pampering and health care, but most importantly, it was all about community and connection. on wednesday, sib and i booked a super cute pilates event through the women-led event company she's company. this company puts the focus on what women want and need, promoting local, women owned businesses, and it helps women connect with each other through fun events, such as ass-kicking led by instructor noura awad.
sib and i had a blast checking out the vendors. we picked out anklet chains and got zapped at the k-linked permanent jewelry stand, and we created our own summer scent at her edit perfume bar. the sunset at the glamper rooftop bar was healing even when my muscles burnt from each rep.

thursday nite we reconnected with bestie morg and ben, hung out in their backyard where the guys kept the fire alive, and we had s'mores and roasted hot dogs.
the work besties met up for another birthday celebration. early dinner by the marina at trader jacks. sun hitting directly in my face, felt like i was melting. couldn't be bothered though, my lemon drop martini kept me refreshed. relocated to a raunchy dive bar - billy's old front that had everything a dive bar should have - questionable stains on the ceiling tiles, old ass bowling machine, pool tables, and scribbles on the bathroom doors. most importantly, the bar had everything for a cosmo, if i really wanted to. i spared them the hassle.saturday we wrapped up last minute errands. packing the essentials, final appointments for the perfect hot girl summer, and then loconti concert at cebars, in the company of our wonderful bestie vic. we beat the dead horse per usual, and while we love a good bar patio, cebars needs more lights!

sunday, though, was perhaps one of the highlights of the month. i got us tickets for the runway - fashion talks' runway show under the chandelier in playhouse square, downtown. it was a magical experience that showcased incredible talent. it was a chance to see local vendors, enjoy playhouse square, and play dress up as well! considering it was also the 28th anniversary of sex and the city, this was such a wonderful way to celebrate! check out this week's inspo to see what i got at one of the vendors, reclamation vintage.
cleveland's winter was truly so harsh because the city is so inspiring this season. perhaps it's just me, discovering more and more of what this city offers. we often judge the area, the curse of the suburbs. but when you dig around and do your research, our rusty town isn't fully tarnished.this week's looks
on monday i wore this where's waldo-esque look. striped top, baggy jeans, rose tote, white loafers. i lost these sunnies sometime mid-week. with all the packing i think i need to pause on the search.
