PeSuit and Tie

  i want to share my indyx wrapped  results, which analyzed how much of my closet was utilized, what was worn the most, etc.  this week i got my hair done at bestie morgan's. my inspo was bella hadid's blonde look. the moment i saw her new look, i knew i needed that hairstyle. end of year hair is all set✓ here's a quick story on how this grinch (bought a) stole (for) christmas . sib and i went window shopping tuesday night. wanted to look for last minute decor ideas, and gift inspiration for last minute gifts. sib was searching for holiday dish towels and bedding, only to be met with the pink and reds of valentine's day. woah there... items we did find had nothing to do with our initial search: two christian lacroix  faux fur stoles. sib and i gushed. black and white - perfect for our new years fits! i would get the white one, and sib would get the black one. and it would match so nicely with our black and white north face ushankas we got last year. how cute would it...

  the start of the school year literally wiped away the heat of summer, so suddenly. summer arrives loudly, brightly and feels obnoxious sometimes. but it leaves and never gives you notice. truthfully, we still have a whole month of technical summer time, but this week i admit i'm liking the feeling of fall.  fall is my favorite season, but i feel so guilty at the beginning of it (or at the end of summer), because here in ohio we only get a sliver of true summer. or perhaps i was spoiled by my youth in dalmatia, where we had mostly summer and painful heat. boyfriend let me borrow his macbook, so it's been a bit easier instead of bouncing between library work hours, my own schedule, and sib's laptop with no storage. thank you boyfriend! on monday i dyed my hair back to copper, and had a proper therapy sesh with bestie morg, my hair stylist and wonderful friend. did i accidentally dye away the last blonde remnants of summer as well? oops.  friday i had an end of summer team...

  so many roots to care for this week. the art reception for local art was held, and my painting of my hometown ancient church was displayed. it's a proud moment to use my ancestry as inspiration. sib and i were joking that my next goal should be trying to get an exhibit done in my hometown library (that's where art exhibits happen - we only have a history museum). more literal roots were pulled out of our garden, as sib ordered a complete revamp of our garden. no more square, useless grass lawn - we're planting deeper and more meaningful roots. sib got inspired by docuseries on english gardens, and our mother's own garden. on sunday, my brown roots in my hair got a makeover and i am no longer blonde(ish) - just a new ginger. i got so inspired i made a  playlist inspired by my childhood hair salon trips and endless admiration of the hair salon magazines while waiting.
