physically - i feel exhausted this week. my assumption as to why is daylight savings and splattered warm weather that urged me to take walks for over an hour, indulging in fresh spring air. regardless, it's working well for my mental state. you don't realize you're impacted by the stupid ohio weather until there's a day you can open your window and shamelessly blast your music.  boyfriend and i had quite the interesting date on saturday: we did try diving  - your basic intro to scuba diving. while the hobby is pricey, it was a fun and trippy feeling to breathe underwater. it literally felt like a dream. sunday i got to day drink with my coworkers for a friend's birthday - which meant st patrick's day bingo and numerous irish coffees . no bingo was won on our side of the bar. so much for feeling lucky. this week's looks the stairs seem to be the place to find me. fashion and meteorology go together more than we mention - yet we all know to dress accordingly b...

  i was met with the highs and lows of work - having 3 days of just lots of supervisory tasks, adding endless bullet points onto my to-do list, putting out fires and just dealing with the delicate and often mentally tasking expectations of my work. don't get me wrong, i love what i do. it's proven during our conference  - a yearly awards ceremony to celebrate the company's best of the best, added with fancy dinner, gala style, and party time - with love stories that inevitably make me cry, and inspiring keynote speakers that help me find the spark of leadership - and the answer for "why" i do what i do.  anyways, i spent the end of the week in columbus  to celebrate this work success - mainly to dish the tea with my work besties and celebrate our success. it's a networking opportunity, but let's be real for a minute - the best part is dressing up and having drinks during the weekday - among the big bosses. i'm not going to brag about my position, i...

are you feeling the twitch of cabin fever? the weeks are looking dull, and i am trying to keep busy with reading and watching movies in the afternoon. we got snowed in on thursday - like i got to work from home! i used the opportunity to get my nails done (as promised) in between supervisions and paperwork.  since it's been months since i did my nails, i wanted a simpler design but still maximalist. had my nails shorter. i was a bit rusty, but overall, very satisfied with the outcome! and i really thought i wasn't going to fall victim of the polka dot trend. you guys can see that sib and i have been using out indoor time to experiment on makeup, we also resorted to trying hairstyles. i bought french pins a year or two ago - for when i finally do my breakfast at tiffany's costume. and i also find it so chic! * i am so going to go off tangent for a minute: i know i said chic  was a word that was out for me in 2026, but my spirit guide sib enlightened me: why can't everyth...
