indyx predicts: trends you probably already own in your closet
the app indyx is my favorite tool for blogging. it helps me create style hauls, inspo, and my every day looks. the indyx instagram frequently showcases new stylists on the app and often shares how to reduce shopping and re-use pre-owned items in a new light. here's 4 trends we don't have to buy into, according to indyx, using my closet:

chunky jewelrya statement necklace, big hoop earrings, a cuff. and if you don't own it, your mom almost certainly does. dress: skims, necklace: thrifted, purse: thrifted, heels: steve madden, sunnies: fendi |

ruffles, lace, or a little frillyou don't need a full victorian-child balloon pant moment. anything with lace, eyelets, a ruffle, or a smoked detail hits the same note. top: second-hand, skirt: second-hand (from mom), purse: second-hand, heels: marc fisher, accessories and jewelry: thrifted |

animal printit doesn't have to be the exact fawn or dalmatian print spotted on the runway. leopard, snake, zebra... anything goes! top: thrifted, skirt: courtnay (from mom), flats: steve madden, sunnies: gucci, ring: thrifted, purse: second-hand, cardigan: forever 21 (second-hand) |

broochesany decorative pin counts - something vintage, a scarf clip, even a safety pin! the point is to add a little ~decoration~. top: armani, jeans: ralph lauren, blazer: thrifted, sunnies: urban outfitters, heels: vintage, purse and necklace: forever 21 |
style my haul: gucci sunnies
i have no business adding more items to my closet, especially after writing about the cool ways indyx promotes re-using items already owned. totally calling myself out, but i need to share my impulse buy from the runway: y2k gucci sunnies.
sib and i saw that the price tag was only 2 digits, instead of a usual 3 digit (side eyeing saks fifth closing sale as i type).
