7-5-2026 MY INSPO: bestie victoria, a style analysis
bestie victoria celebrated her birthday end of june, and my job as designated blogger friend is doing an interview, probing into the creativity of my friend, and honoring her for her birthday. i freshly landed back to the states and was struggling with my previous blog deadlines, and victoria's was filled, i imagine with adjustments to croatia lifestyle as she is currently doing her tour de croatia. but we managed to find a time to do a style analysis and a moment with viki. i wouldn't miss this for the world.

| victoria may just be a time traveler. she is such a work of art because i find her face in every art museum or vintage store i pass. |
a word on our youngest friend in the group: both of us are water signs, and we can all resonate deeply, as she is a friend that likes to ask the deeper questions, uncomfortable or not. bestie victoria is our jack of all trades, and she bravely traverses parts of the world none of us have ever planned to do so, like backpacking in vietnam, or moving a bit to croatia, and finally currently settling in wisconsin. my fave thing about her is her music taste, currently verging on some summertime americana folk i enjoy. she may or may not remember my bizarre obsession with the dust bowl, and her song recommendations further fuel my "roman empire". i still often listen to the playlist she made for me years ago, a gift i cherish so deeply. happy belated birthday once again friend, i can't wait to reconnect soon!
a moment with... victoria (viki) g
what do you do when you hit a creative block?
i go outside without my phone! even if it's just to the grocery store, i need no screen and movement. see attached a photo of me trying to walk during wisconsin winter.
my friend at school just bought a used car the same day i saw this. perfect timing.
to get big life milestones "out of the way". i'm not talking about vacuuming or exercise i'm talking about college education, "firsts" in relationships, traveling, etc. i don't like rushing things and i''m not very good at it. i don't mind taking my time, it's no one else's but my own.
what's something you bought for under $100 that changed your life?
MY MASSAGE GUN!!! i use this thing almost every other day and even bought my parents one. no need to live in pain!
honeyland. it may be my favorite movie. i watch it every year or so. it's a documentary about a female beekeeper who takes care of her sick mother in macedonia. it feels to me like one of those perfect stories. not because of the ending or dialogue, but about how human and unique it is. a recording of folklore that i wouldn't ever understand if i read or heard about it. a perfect inspiration of art for me.
bravery is a muscle that needs to be trained
