11-30-2025 MY WEEK: i'm thankful for...

as i close on the chapter that is november, i am truly grateful - this month was insane, in a good way. between spending the start of the month with my family in croatia, then ending the month celebrating friendship during friendsgiving, and mid-month i celebrated me - turning 27, the short days and cold weather seem less depressing when you have such fun and laughter around you, and the sense of togetherness.

here's some highlights of this week. it felt like a long, but fulfilling week.

the party started on blackout wednesday when we met with the friend group at cebars to watch the band loconti. toward the end of the night, i got to chat with bestie nicole's brother, bestie luka. one of the veterans of my annoying q & a's of the blog, that night he was the last word:

the last show/movie i watched... the last waltz
the last restaurant i went to... wendy's on 222nd (does this count?)
the last holiday i went to... atlantic city
the last item i added to my closet was... a paisley guitar strap from locket usa
the last fun day i had was... playing basketball with rimac, colin, and tomo
the last meal i made... špek [that wednesday]
the last workout i did... sister talking - that day (author's note: i was very drunk writing these answers down, only at the end i remembered i could've used voice memo).
the last piece of advice i was given... from a magistrate: "i'm not laughing at your situation, I'm laughing at how pathetic it is".
the last time i felt at peace was... seeing oasis in toronto

hangovers on thanksgiving are quickly cured with more drinks and an abundance of food. the abundance did not end on thursday, because friday sib and i hosted friendsgiving at our residence, and it included delicious finger foods made by my lovely friends, my specialty espresso martinis (this time with a salted caramel twist), an hour discussion about ash trevino (next style analysis on her?!), lullabies on my jam and an (un)expected night out.

the friday morning, sib and i went to the trenches for black friday, finding pitiful percentages, and only hypothetical sales.
next hangout spot: the nordstrom women's lounge
finally, saturday and sunday were spent in decorating the residence for christmas, and checking out the local holiday boutique

this week's looks

scarves were the shit. my calving klein shoulder bag interchanged with the gold hobo bag, and that coverse puffer was a great addition each time. no wonder it was traveling from friend to friend and is dubbed the sisterhood of traveling jacket. i didn't shy from adding one single pop of color to my weekly looks.
monday for work i layered a mesh newspaper print top under a black tee, with baggy asymmetrical jeans. added a black and gold geometric pattern scarf and the red faux leather bomber jacket. calvin klein bag, converse, and the usual accessories.

tuesday for work i wore another red + graphic outfit. same jacket and bag, black sweater, red dkny wrap skirt, and yellow graphic tights - only subtly peeking through between skirt and high boots.

for my lash lift appointment that night, i wore a green v neck top and black slacks. converse cropped puffer and converse shoes.
unintentional christmas moment that day...

wednesday we had a party at work so i wore this turkey hat, and thanksgiving appropriate color scheme. sublime sweatshirt, forever 21 burnt orange flared pants, heel boots, leather gloves and bag, and converse puffer.

i debuted the jpg mesh top on blackout wednesday. went all out, really. leather everything: coat, gloves, boots, and bag (faux but we'll let it pass). colorful fuzzy hat, and flared jeans with heart back pockets. a shit load of bangles. shoutout to sib for helping me style this! i wanted to wear it with dress, but i'm going thru a cold, and she suggested the mesh top go on top of a black bodysuit. that way jpg get the spotlight it deserved.

for thanksgiving, i wore a navy dior sweater, tan maxi skirt, moto boots, a giant scarf (very lenny kravitz of me), calvin klein plaid coat.

friday we celebrated friendsgiving and i wore this purple zebra top, with wide leg black jeans, bangles galore, and when we went out i added my brand new naturalizer loafers, which i talk about more in the inspo of the week

saturday we spent most of the day decorating, but of course that entailed buying more decorations and checking out the spirit christmas store. i wore this black and grey turtleneck, flared ripped jeans, moto boots and hobo back in combo with converse jacket again.

sunday we were late to church and i wore a cozy sweatshirt with pink pants and borrowed sib's pink uniqlo bag. not my greatest look of the week, that's for sure.

we checked out a local holiday market sunday afternoon, and i wore a green turtleneck sweater, vintage levi's, my own uniqlo bag, and a brown puffer jacket.

what am i looking forward to this week?

i'm excited to open up my advent calendar. and start holiday shopping and diy-ing. there's an antique sale this weekend i am planning to check out, and the december mix at the museum is this friday. victoria², sib and i have been in discussion about the perfect snow globe outfit, and i'm excited to check out the new exhibit, renaissance to runway. there's a local tree lighting ceremony, so i might make a date out of that too. my agenda will be filled with lots of hot chocolate too.
