6-14-2026 MY WEEK: the croset, ss26

 ah, home sweet home. i spent my first day in cro swapping fall's wardrobe for summer's best! my suitcase only had a pair of heels, some jewelry, and a dress for a wedding we're attending here. i was convinced i had a good pile of items, and i was correct! also, we obviously visited the holy land (supernova mall) and the holy trinity (pull and bear, stradivarius, bershka) and we got some extra goodies. check out how i styled most of them already this week, below.

we got our beach days in, and homemade cocktails kept flowing.

if you're interested in the cocktail of the week, below is the recipe for the george tropicana:

2 shots vodka - 2 shots limoncello - 1 aperol spritz - 2 spoonful of elderflower syrup - 2 shots pineapple juice

shake thoroughly and pour, expect a beautiful peachy color and enjoy a bittersweet fantasy.

this tote was a specific project sib made the night before our trip, as she needed a good travel bag with numerous compartments. this one was made from secondhand scrap material, and has many pockets. it's sturdy, as evidenced by me hauling three giant bottles of alcohol effortlessly.

this week's looks

welcome back croset, as you read above. i love having two closets. this week you'll be seeing some new stuff. and obviously, with the busy days, expect numerous outfit changes. i'm not even bothered. 

monday i was still in the states. here's a pucci inspired look for work. white blouse, denim skirt, converse, coach bag, frida earrings, paint shirt necklace, john lennon sunnies.

tuesday work/travel. a comfy fit appropriate for a half-day at work. black tank, stretchy slacks, button down blouse and zara slipper sandals. longchamp tote.

managed to change from tuesday's fit to wednesday evening's tank from mom, express shorts, shoulder purse, chanel sunnies and flip flops. 

thursday look 1: shopping day in radar. an a-line dress, with a matching peplum jacket, kate spade purse (oh how i missed her), arizona sandals, and some simple jewelry. i usually steer clear from a-line. it just isn't flattering for my physique.

thursday look 2: church. this matching top and set is part of my shopping haul (chosen by sib) from pull and bear, mom's braided sandals, a two toned crossbody bag, and mom's newest blazer, which i borrowed. 90s minimalism anyone?

thursday look 3: late nite walk. boyfriend and i took a tour de hometown, and it was quite nippy. nike crewneck, leggings, h&m sneakers.

friday look 1: coffee with dad. welcome back numerous large macchiatos to the point my head is aching from caffeine. i wore a house tee, a maxi skirt from italy, lace cardigan from italy, startas sneakers, gucci sunnies and red leather shoulder bag.

friday look 2: walk off the coffee. sib needed to walk off the caffeine so we did a brisk walk around town. a tee from a local boutique, leggings, h&m sneakers, gucci sunnies.

friday look 3: beach. another item from the haul is this bikini. styled with a simple crop tank and black shorts, brown flip flops and multicolor tote, gucci sunnies.

friday look 4: dinner and errands. needed to run to the store to get stuff for mom's birthday on saturday. a simple red lace tank, flared leg pants, sib's tote, and brown flip flops.

saturday, it was mom's birthday and we hung out around the house, then got gas for the car for boyfriend and my trip the following day. off-shoulder black top, khaki shorts, red leather purse, brown flip flops. 

saturday nite. dalmatino concert. i wore a drop waist dress in a tan shade from italy. black leather shoulder bag, newest heels from my haul (incredibly comfy, i'm tempted to buy more from this brand).

sunday getaway to dubrovnik. sib let me borrow her dress for a "lunch" that turned out to be a surprise engagement. here's what i wore for the time i said "yes" on the top of a hill. gingham dress, leather knit nicole miller bag, zara sandals, and surprisingly no rings because i forgot about them during our 3 hour drive.

after calling our whole family to announce the engagement and celebratory lunch in the city, boyfriend fiancé and i changed into our swimwear. beach dress, newest swimsuit, zara sandals, and the same tote. 

finally, celebratory dinner at a panorama restaurant with a breathtaking view. still in shock and indulging free champagne, i wore an off-shoulder asymmetrical sparkly top, black pencil skirt and the new heels. ruffled clutch purse and my newest ring outshining all my other jewelry.

what i'm looking forward to next week

croatia is starting it's group for the fifa world cup. stay tuned for sporty content. i'm back home after our romantic getaway trip but still excited to share with the whole world the only time i got surprised by sib and boyfriend fiancé. finally, we'll use the time for more beach days and day trips.
