3-23-25 MY INSPO: nailspo of the month. ties: an evolution in my life

 i'm supposed to do my nails sometime soon, once i get some free time. my tv glitch nails are holding on, but not for long. i am a sucker for abstract and fun designs (even though i am confined for hours in one spot, and needing a lot of patience). i've had these nails in my folder for some time, and i like the chrome-black-pink color scheme. will be posting once i get them done. 

i mentioned how sib and i have been hoarding cheap ties at the thrift stores. would it be peSuit and tie without a tie mention? sib and i keep seeing these kinds of skirts and i think it is such a cute idea. i'd make this my uniform. any ties that are leftover - i'll just keep and wear. with my work, i pretty much overdress already. 

but i might try and make ties a thing when going out (ok patrick bateman). not to bring up my embarrassing teen years, when i was really at my peak of creativity (and also ignorant but i still find it amazing how brave i was) - i would wear ties and bowties to school. on some days, i'd even wear suspenders. 

this photo cannot be more 2014ish. i was chronically online between tumblr and buzzfeed - with my hazel grace inspired haircut, shirt and bowtie and fugly glasses. yet i was super confident in whatever i wanted to wear. i'll be looking for more photos from the archives for everyone's amusement.
